For school and home celebrations, take the spotlight off of sugary treats and put it on fun activities.  For celebration snacks, be creative with yummy treats.

Try:

  • Yogurt parfait in a cup with layers of chopped grapes, other fresh fruits and granola
  • Fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate
  • Graham crackers spread with low fat cream cheese and sprinkled with chopped grapes and/or strawberries

Or have fun coming up with your own creative and healthy ideas!  If kids can create the ideas and make the snack, it adds to the fun!
