Jamba Juice Garden Grants

National Gardening Association and Jamba Juice provide youth garden programs with gardening supplies, curriculum, and funding for soil amendments and plants to help create engaging nutrition and gardening experiences.
General Mills Champions for Healthy Kids
Deadline: Mar. 14, 2014
The General Mills Foundation awards 50 grants of $20,000 each to community-based groups such as: health departments, government agencies and schools that develop creative ways to help youth adopt a balanced diet and physically active lifestyle.
*A registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) must either be directly involved or serve as an advisor to the program. HKC dietitians can help!
Library Mini Grants
Deadline: Mar. 15, 2014
The Ezra Jack Keats Foundation Mini grant awards $500 to public schools and public libraries for projects that foster creative expression, working together, and interaction with a diverse community.
ING Unsung Heroes Awards
Deadline: Apr. 30, 2014
The ING Unsung Heroes awards program annually recognizes U.S. K-12 educators for their innovative teaching methods, creative educational projects, and ability to positively influence the children they teach. Educators are invited to submit grant applications describing class projects they have initiated or would like to pursue.
