Eat Your Colors…..of Fruits and Veggies!

Remember to eat your colors of the rainbow with fruits and veggies. Color categories are red, green, yellow/orange, white, and blue/purple. Healthy Kids Challenge has some fun ways for you to get your kids involved in eating more fruits and veggies.
1. Let kids help plan the colors for the day. Preschoolers will love learning their
colors and eating them too!
2. Have kids keep a rainbow chart of colors eaten that day on the refrigerator.

3. Consider fresh, canned, frozen and dried for a wonderful rainbow of color, as well as nutrients!
